Purpose StatementThe Higher Level Assembly Technician assesses, implements, and maintains manufacturing procedures for intricate assembly processes. As a key technical advocate within the Focus Factory Team, they utilize their skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and safety improvements in Plexus's assembly operations.Key Job AccountabilitiesDevelops / executes manufacturing solutions / provides services that are high-quality, cost-appropriate, and satisfy the customer's requirements while establishing an area of technical specialty (in-discipline) and applies process improvement or troubleshooting as it applies to their role.Utilizes appropriate tools to perform necessary work including creation, analysis, and verification of documentation, programs, models, processes or production as it applies to their role.Demonstrates an intermediate, discipline‑specific understanding of how they support the full Plexus manufacturing processes / product requirements & specifications / cross‑discipline or supplier coordination, as it applies to their role.Successfully executes responsibilities independently in accordance with good manufacturing practices and Plexus' manufacturing processes and provides support to direct production line operators as it applies to their role.Comprehensive understanding of equipment / process control / safety / risk awareness / setup awareness / operation of, as it applies to their role.Work ShiftThis position will support 2nd shift Monday through Friday from 2pm - 10pm. This shift includes a 10% shift differential.Education/Experience QualificationsAssociate's Degree with 2 or more years of related experience is preferred.
