Manufacturing Technician II

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II for an Onsite position with a Global Life Sciences Company located in Austin, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

Team members are responsible for ensuring high-quality production in a manufacturing department. This includes kitting, packaging, filling, capping, labeling, and assembling both sub-assemblies and finished goods. Many tasks will be performed in a clean manufacturing environment, adhering strictly to safety protocols with personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities:

• Complete manufacturing tasks with precision and consistency
• Fill, cap, and label vials, bottles, and tubes following established procedures
• Communicate and collaborate effectively to ensure daily production goals are met
• Work in standard and clean room environments, adhering to PPE requirements
• Safely operate both manual and automated filling equipment
• Complete training requirements on time and align with all ISO and regulatory standards
• Recognize and address deviations from accepted practices
• Maintain strong attendance and punctuality
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or similar relevant experience
• Proven ability to follow policies, procedures, and schedules independently
• Adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to lift/move objects: 10lbs regularly, 25lbs frequently, 50lbs occasionally
• Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously in a dynamic environment
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Desired skills:

• Experience in a life sciences manufacturing company is a plus

Pay range: up to $22.05 per hour
