Position: Manufacturing Technician II
Location: Austin, TX, 78744
Duration: 12 Months
Job Type: Temporary Assignment
Work Type: Onsite
Shift: Monday to Friday from 06:00 AM to 02:30 PM.
Summary:
  • The Manufacturing Technician is responsible for ensuring high-quality production within the Filling Department by performing filling, capping, labeling, and assembly of sub-assemblies and finished goods.
  • This role supports world-class manufacturing standards through precise execution of tasks in both standard and cleanroom environments while adhering strictly to safety, ISO, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Complete manufacturing tasks with precision, consistency, and attention to detail
  • Fill, cap, and label vials, bottles, and tubes according to established procedures
  • Safely operate manual and automated filling equipment
  • Work in standard and cleanroom manufacturing environments while adhering to PPE and safety requirements
  • Communicate and collaborate with team members to achieve daily production goals
  • Identify, report, and address deviations from accepted manufacturing practices
  • Maintain accurate, compliant production processes to prevent non-conforming products
  • Complete required training on time and comply with ISO and regulatory standards
  • Participate in one-on-one training until proficiency is achieved
  • Perform preventative maintenance on equipment as required
  • Interact with internal personnel to support smooth operations and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain strong attendance and punctuality
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ability to follow policies, procedures, and production schedules independently
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Physical ability to lift and move objects:
  • 10 lbs regularly
  • 25 lbs frequently
  • 50 lbs occasionally
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Prior experience in a life sciences or regulated manufacturing environment
  • Experience operating semi-automated and manual filling equipment
  • Familiarity with cleanroom manufacturing practices and PPE requirements
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Preventative maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting
