Manufacturing Technician II

DPP is seeking a Manufacturing Technician II for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.
 
Work location: Onsite in Hanover, MD
Duration: 12 months
Terms: W2 Contract
Work authorization: US Citizen
 
Responsibilities:

• Build, process, and test subassemblies and assemblies.
• Interpret and follow established processes and procedures.
• Read and interpret technical documentation, such as prints, diagrams, specifications, manufacturer manuals, and engineering drawings.
• Safely handle hazardous materials in accordance with OSHA and company policies.
• Must be willing to perform work on weekends as required.
• Must be willing to work overtime as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.
• No clearance required to start.
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Able to read, comprehend and follow established written instructions and drawings without deviation.
• Perform basic math and measurement functions.
• Communicate nonconformances to management and quality assurance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Operating industrial equipment such as precision measuring instruments and hand tools.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
