Manufacturing Technician - II*

We are a national staffing firm and are currently seeking Manufacturing Technician II for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in Oceanside, CA 92056.Details of the position are as follows: 
 
Job Details:

• Pay: $24.85/hr to Start!!
• 9-month assignment, possibility for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• Monday – Friday 1^st shift
• Position will be mainly responsible for executing cGMP manufacturing operations in accordance with batch records, SOPs, Good Documentation Practices (GDP), safety requirements, and established manufacturing procedures.
• Position will also be responsible for performing downstream processing activities, including chromatography, ultrafiltration/diafiltration (UF/DF), buffer preparation, filter integrity testing, and manual and/or automated filling of viral vector material.
• Position will also Weigh and prepare raw materials, assemble and operate single-use systems, complete electronic inventory transactions using MES/EBS, and maintain accurate in-process manufacturing documentation.
• Position will also be collaborating with manufacturing, MSAT, Facilities & Engineering, and Quality teams to support GMP production runs, troubleshoot/escalate equipment or process issues, and assist with revisions to SOPs, MPRs, and other controlled documents.

• High School Diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience, Associate’s degree with 2+ years, or a Bachelor’s degree with limited/entry-level experience is Required!
• Hands-on experience or background in downstream processing and/or purification, including protein purification processes is Required!
• Knowledge of cGMP requirements and experience following SOPs in a regulated manufacturing or laboratory environment is Required!
• Experience with protein purification techniques, including chromatography methods such as HPLC, SEC (Size Exclusion), and IEX (Ion Exchange), and/or filtration techniques including UF/DF and TFF is Preferred!
• Experience within a biopharmaceutical, biotechnology, or cell therapy manufacturing environment, including buffer preparation experience is Preferred!
