Johnson Service Group is seeking a detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician II/III to support production operations in a regulated ISO 13485 and cGMP environment.  

Swing Shift | Onsite| $21.00 - $27.00 per hour | Contract to Hire

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Execute manufacturing processes in compliance with cGMP, GDP, and ISO 13485 standards
  • Perform documentation (execution + review) related to manufacturing activities
  • Conduct visual inspection of products and packaging (including lyophilized materials)
  • Operate and monitor production equipment (pipettes, balances, pH meters, heat sealers, automated machinery)
  • Perform basic calculations and unit conversions (volumes, concentrations, measurements)
  • Clean and sanitize manufacturing and support areas
  • Monitor equipment performance and escalate alarms or issues
  • Support Quality and Continuous Improvement initiatives
  • Assist with training new team members
  • Contribute to SOP updates, NCRs, and risk assessments
  • Manage materials and transactions in NetSuite (issuing, completing, closing work orders)
  • Ensure proper handling of hazardous materials in compliance with regulations
Requirements
  • Experience working in a cGMP-regulated manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow SOPs and written instructions
  • Solid communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Basic understanding of chemical/biological safety practices
  • Experience with formulation, filling, kitting, or packaging operations is a plus
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing production needs
Qualifications
Manufacturing Technician II
  • Bachelor’s degree (highly preferred) in Biotechnology, Biology, Biochemistry, or related field + 1+ year of cGMP experience, OR
  • Associate’s degree + 2+ years of related experience, OR
  • High school diploma + 3+ years of cGMP manufacturing experience

Manufacturing Technician III
  • Bachelor’s degree (highly preferred) in a related field + 2+ years of cGMP experience, OR
  • Associate’s degree + 3+ years of experience, OR
  • High school diploma + 5+ years of cGMP manufacturing experience
