Manufacturing Technician III

Job Description:

The Role

Entegris is currently seeking a Manufacturing Technician III to join our Production team on 2nd shift (12PM - 8:30PM), based in our Danbury, CT facility.

This position serves as a key member of the production team supporting both high-volume and low-volume specialty gas product lines. The role requires safe operation of gas filling, analytical, cleaning, inspection, and quality control processes while working with hazardous gases, cylinders, manifolds, and associated equipment. Safety, teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement are critical to success in this position.

What You'll Do

  • Safely operate and support gas cylinder filling, cleaning, and analytical processes.

  • Operate and maintain manifolds, fill stations, vacuum systems, and analytical equipment.

  • Support multiple product families and specialty gas species across low and high-volume production lines.

  • Maintain product quality, process consistency, and compliance with operating procedures.

  • Perform preventive maintenance, equipment checks, and calibrations as required.

  • Accurately document production data using SAP, CamLine, Microsoft Office, and related systems.

  • Track raw material inventories and production consumption.

  • Utilize appropriate PPE and perform SCBA activities safely and effectively.

  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, R&D, and Operations teams to improve processes and resolve issues.

  • Meet production schedules while maintaining safety and quality standards

  • Clean and maintain equipment and work areas (5S).

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, and productivity.

  • Maintain reliability, accountability, and a strong commitment to operational excellence.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What We Seek

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing, technical, laboratory or production environment. Knowledge of gas manifolds, high-vacuum systems, and analytical equipment preferred.

  • Ability to safely work with hazardous materials, using PPE.

  • Demonstrate a dedication to safety excellence.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Must be dependable and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Must have a quality mindset

  • Must be able to work on site full time.

  • Experience with SAP

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
