Job Description

Job Title: Manufacturing Technician
Location: Not Specified
Pay Rate: $29.40/hr
Duration: 6 months

  • Execute upstream, downstream, and core support manufacturing activities in a controlled cGMP environment.

  • Operate biologics manufacturing equipment for solution preparation, cell culture, purification, and equipment cleaning/preparation.

  • Perform CIP/SIP, equipment sterilization, autoclave and glass washer operations.

  • Prepare buffers and media and support cell culture activities from vial thaw through production scale.

  • Perform column operations, Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), and load line setup.

  • Conduct in-process sampling and analytical testing, including pH and conductivity measurements.

  • Complete batch records, log sheets, and manufacturing documentation in accordance with cGMP and SOP requirements.

  • Manage manufacturing inventory and support shipping of finished materials.

  • Utilize manufacturing systems and process technologies including LIMS, SAP, DCS, PLC, PI, and automated control systems.

Education

  • Associate degree or equivalent certification required.

  • Bachelor's degree in Science or a related discipline preferred.

  • 1+ year of manufacturing experience preferred.

  • Experience operating autoclaves and glass washers

  • Experience in a regulated pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment

  • Experience with PI/process data systems

  • Experience supporting continuous process improvement in cGMP manufacturing
