Manufacturing Technician IV

Description

The Manufacturing Technician IV is responsible for assembling, manufacturing, and refurbishing complex products, components, and sub-assemblies to meet customer delivery requirements. Operating with a high degree of independence, this role applies technical proficiency across multiple product families while serving as a key resource for quality, process adherence, and team guidance on the manufacturing floor.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The essential functions of the role are listed below. Other duties may be assigned as necessary

• Assembles or manufactures components accurately, in accordance with Assembly Procedures.
• Provides finished products or sub-assemblies consistently, meeting both quality and quantity goals.
• Uses hand tools such as Phillips screwdriver, socket wrenches, torque drivers, and hex wrenches to assemble parts. May also use liquids such as glue or oil.
• Trims material, peels and sticks labels, and performs other fine motor skill activities to complete assembly instructions.
• May be assigned to work with moving parts, with power tools, and/or in small or confined areas.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Navigate and utilize ERP systems, Jira, Microsoft Office applications, and Confluence to track work orders, log production activity, and access or update relevant documentation.
• Manage and coordinate multiple concurrent production tasks or build events, prioritizing effectively to maintain throughput and meet delivery commitments.
• Deliver high-quality assemblies across more than one area of the manufacturing line, demonstrating versatility and consistent workmanship beyond a single station or product family.

QUALIFICATIONS/PRIOR EXPERIENCE/COMPETENCIES

• Must have a deep understanding of the products and ability to work independently, serving as a subject-matter expert in some areas.

• Basic computer skills required to access work procedures, time card, and other work documents.

EDUCATION / CERTIFICATION

• High School Diploma or GED required with 2+ years of related experience.

Location: Candidates must reside within commuting distance of our Boulder, CO office. Relocation assistance is not available. Only local candidates will be considered

Compensation: 25.65 - 31.00/ hour. While this salary range is a good faith and reasonable estimate, a candidate's actual salary will be competitive based on a variety of factors including the candidate's knowledge, skills, and experience.
