Manufacturing Technician

The Panther Group is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for an opportunity in the Kettering, OH area. This position supports production operations by operating computer-controlled laser machining equipment to process precision components in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a production or manufacturing setting, strong attention to detail, and the ability to follow technical instructions and documentation.

We are currently hiring for all shifts:

• 1st shift, Mon-Fri, 6am start
• 2nd shift, Mon-Fri 2pm start
• 3rd shift, Mon-Fri, 10pm start
• Weekend 3rd Shift - Fri & Sat, 10pm-10am. Sun, 10pm-6am.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer-based laser machining equipment to process components according to work instructions.
• Review and interpret drawings, specifications, and process documentation.
• Verify equipment status and system conditions prior to operation.
• Inspect components to ensure quality and specification requirements are met.
• Enter production or inspection data into company systems as required.
• Support production team operations and collaborate with team members to meet production goals.
• Train or assist other employees on production processes and equipment when requested.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and manufacturing standards.

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to handle small components
• Ability to follow written and verbal work instructions

• Experience with automated or manual inspection equipment
• Familiarity with ISO quality systems, preferably within medical device manufacturing
• Experience using optical inspection tools such as microscopes, magnifiers, or measurement equipment

$17.00 – $20.40 per hour (W2)
Pay varies depending on shift and experience
