  • Pay Rate: $24.43 / Hour (USD)

Job Summary

Under general supervision, test, inspect, troubleshoot, rework, and repair product or related subassemblies to written and/or oral specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The incumbent may be asked to perform other function-related activities in addition to the below mentioned responsibilities as reasonably required by business needs.

  • Responsible for meeting quality, efficiency, and safety requirements and standards.
  • Operate, test, calibrate, and repair production equipment, products, and related subassemblies as required per specifications and document results with operations and engineering.
  • Reads and interprets schematics and blueprints required to ensure proper calibration of machines.
  • Ensure that design, implementation, test, and maintenance methods/processes are developed, as well as executed in a manner which supports all quality standards.
  • Performs root cause investigations on systems/subassemblies using basic troubleshooting techniques.
  • Participate in daily management board.
  • Comply with 6S.
  • Conduct inventory transactions.
  • Report failures via NCE process.
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a controlled Clean Room or Dark Room (if applicable).
  • Understand and comply with all work safety rules and regulations and GMP guidelines.
  • Work on special projects as requested.
  • Ability to work overtime to meet production schedule as needed.

  • Sit; use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls.
  • Stand; walk; reach with hands and arms; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Lifting/moving and carrying products weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and/or moderate noise levels.
  • Exposure to hazardous chemicals or other materials.
  • Safety shoes with impact and compression protection must be worn.
  • Exposure to blood.
