Technician - Manufacturing
Location: Irvine, California
Job Summary
We are seeking a Technician - Manufacturing to support manufacturing operations in Irvine, California. The ideal candidate will perform manufacturing and rework activities, follow manufacturing documentation and procedures, support operators, perform inspections, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
This is an individual contributor role requiring strong attention to detail, the ability to follow technical documentation, and hands-on experience working with manufacturing tools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform manufacturing operations according to established manufacturing documentation, procedures, and allocated production timelines.
Use available resources, including conventional and/or digital machine tools, to complete manufacturing activities.
Perform complex manufacturing work and rework at the unit and component level.
Select and implement appropriate methods, tools, resources, and procedures to complete assigned work.
Provide technical and hands-on support to manufacturing operators as needed.
Perform self-inspection of completed work to ensure quality and compliance with requirements.
Perform final inspection activities when requested, following engineering drawings, Engineering Orders (EOs), manufacturing documentation, and applicable regulatory requirements.
Identify manufacturing issues and take appropriate corrective action within the scope of responsibility.
Initiate and manage continuous improvement activities within the assigned manufacturing area.
Support improvements related to manufacturing processes, productivity, quality, and efficiency.
Maintain compliance with applicable manufacturing, quality, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Work collaboratively with manufacturing, engineering, quality, and other cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, OR a Master's degree in a related field.
Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred.
Ability to read and follow manufacturing documentation, technical instructions, and engineering drawings.
Experience using conventional and/or digital machine tools is preferred.
Ability to perform detailed inspection and verify work against established requirements.
Ability to troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform complex work/rework.

Ability to work independently while supporting other operators and team members.
