Job Description:
- Perform masking and demasking operations on a variety of parts, assemblies, and components in accordance with approved procedures and specifications.
- Prepare surfaces and materials for masking application to ensure adherence to process and quality requirements.
- Apply masking materials to designated areas to protect surfaces during manufacturing and finishing operations.
- Remove masking materials from completed parts without causing damage to surface or finished product.
- Inspect parts before, during, and after masking and demasking operations to verify conformance to workmanship and quality standards.
- Read and follow work instructions, manufacturing travelers, process documentation, and drawings as required.
- Utilize hand tools, measuring devices, and production equipment necessary to perform assigned tasks.
- Maintain accurate production, inspection, and process records in accordance with company requirements.
- Support production schedules and workflow demand to meet departmental and organizational objectives.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior manufacturing or production experience preferred.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of hand tools and manufacturing equipment preferred.
