Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a Contract job with a client in Malabar, FL. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronic assembly, electro-mechanical manufacturing, circuit card assembly, soldering, cable harnessing, and manufacturing process support, along with a strong understanding of IPC and J-STD workmanship standards.
Rate Range: $24/hour to $26/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Manufacturing Technician Job Responsibilities Include:
Perform complex electronic and electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies, subassemblies, and circuit card assemblies while ensuring compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards.
Execute specialty wiring, component installation, hand soldering, cable harnessing, and assembly activities using approved methods, work instructions, and technical documentation.
Interpret and work from blueprints, engineering drawings, work authorization documents, IPC standards, J-STD requirements, and manufacturing procedures to support production objectives.
Perform setup, calibration, adjustment, rework, inspection, and quality testing activities related to parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
Utilize hand tools, torque tools, soldering equipment, epoxy dispensing equipment, microscopes, and test systems to support manufacturing and product verification activities.
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of six years of relevant manufacturing, electronics assembly, or production experience, or an Associate Degree with a minimum of two years of related experience.
Strong experience performing electronic assembly, electro-mechanical assembly, circuit card assembly, soldering, wiring, and cable harness fabrication activities.
Demonstrated ability to interpret IPC, J-STD, engineering drawings, technical specifications, assembly instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
Experience performing rework, troubleshooting, calibration, testing, inspection, and quality verification activities within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency using hand tools, torque wrenches, soldering equipment, microscopes, measuring devices, and related production equipment.
Preferred Qualifications:
IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or related electronics manufacturing certifications are highly desirable.
Experience supporting aerospace, defense, electronics, or highly regulated manufacturing environments.
Knowledge of circuit card assembly (CCA) manufacturing processes, electro-mechanical systems, cable harness assembly, and precision soldering techniques.
Experience collecting and analyzing manufacturing data to support process improvements, troubleshooting efforts, and operational performance initiatives.
Ability to support multiple manufacturing processes and programs based on changing business and production requirements.

Pay Details: $24.00 to $26.00 per hour
