Job Summary
This Manufacturing Technician position will support the next generation of Spacesuits that will be used by NASA for their return to the moon.
Key Responsibilities
- Follows pre-established guidelines, procedures, and engineering specifications. Requires a high school degree or its equivalent. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Performs hands-on skilled work under supervision.
- Relies on work instructions to perform the functions of the job.
- Works in collaboration with and under the supervision of an engineer or scientist who is providing supervision and prescribing the means to accomplishing the project goals and objectives.
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
High School Degree or equivalent and 1+ years of experience in the manufacturing and assembly of critical hardware

- Competency with desktop software applications, MS Office is required.

Additional Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation.
- This is a Full-time position Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (No travel expected)
- Ability to work in a professional office environment and routinely use standard office equipment (computer, phone, copier, filing cabinets, etc.)
- Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk/hazard to the employee or others.
- Must be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to learn new tasks quickly with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; climb; balance; stoop; kneel; crouch; or crawl. Employees must frequently lift and move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 25 pounds.
