Manufacturing Technician QC Rework

Quality Control & Evaluation

• Inspect carbon composite components for cosmetic and structural defects
• Interpret quality standards, work instructions, and engineering specifications
• Identify reworkable vs. non-reworkable defects and document findings accurately
• Communicate defects and trends to Quality and Manufacturing teams

Rework & Repair

• Perform manual rework on carbon fiber components, including sanding, filling, finishing, and surface prep
• Conduct cosmetic repairs while maintaining structural integrity and performance requirements
• Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and precision equipment safely and effectively
• Re-inspect repaired parts to confirm conformance with for quality standards

Required Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing, quality, or composite repair (carbon fiber preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate cosmetic and physical defects
• Comfort using hand tools and performing fine, repetitive manual work
• Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and quality specifications
• Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking
