Inspect carbon composite components for cosmetic and structural defects
Interpret quality standards, work instructions, and engineering specifications
Identify reworkable vs. non-reworkable defects and document findings accurately
Communicate defects and trends to Quality and Manufacturing teams
Rework & Repair
Perform manual rework on carbon fiber components, including sanding, filling, finishing, and surface prep
Conduct cosmetic repairs while maintaining structural integrity and performance requirements
Use hand tools, pneumatic tools, and precision equipment safely and effectively
Re-inspect repaired parts to confirm conformance with for quality standards
Required Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, quality, or composite repair (carbon fiber preferred)
Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate cosmetic and physical defects
Comfort using hand tools and performing fine, repetitive manual work
Ability to read work instructions, drawings, and quality specifications
Basic computer skills for documentation and tracking
