Manufacturing Technician
Contract-to-Hire | Eagan, MN | $18–$26/hour (DOE)
4-day work week (Mon–Thurs, 7:00 am – 5:30 pm)
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support production operations in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with room for growth and hands-on training.
Responsibilities:
- Operate standard shop equipment (chop saw, drill press, grinder, etc.)
- Perform general assembly and machine operation tasks
- Read and follow shop drawings and work instructions (training provided)
- Conduct basic in-process measurements and quality checks
- Assist with routine equipment maintenance
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Support material handling, including forklift operation (training available)
- Prepare finished goods for shipment (counting, packing, palletizing, wrapping)
- Assist with additional shop and production tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Some experience in manufacturing, production, or an industrial environment
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Comfortable standing or sitting for extended periods
- Ability to lift to 40 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Good communication skills and ability to work well on a team
- Self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Electrical or wiring experience is a plus
