Akkodis is seeking a Manufacturing Technician for a Contract job with a client in Salt Lake City, UT. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting manufacturing operations, calibration activities, quality testing, rework processes, and production support, along with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work closely with engineering teams.
Rate Range: $20/hour to $25/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Manufacturing Technician Job Responsibilities Include:
Support manufacturing operations involving the production, assembly, testing, and rework of parts, components, subassemblies, and finished products.
Work closely with engineering teams on equipment setup, calibration activities, process validation, experiments, and manufacturing support initiatives.
Perform quality testing, inspections, troubleshooting, and rework activities to ensure products meet performance specifications and quality standards.
Utilize manufacturing software, testing systems, and data collection tools to evaluate operating data and support production process adjustments.
Assist in identifying manufacturing issues and support the development and implementation of process improvements and corrective actions.
Maintain accurate production records, test documentation, and operational data while ensuring compliance with company procedures and manufacturing requirements.
Desired Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of four years of relevant manufacturing, production, testing, or technical experience, or an Associate Degree with zero to two years of related experience.
Experience supporting manufacturing operations, assembly processes, quality testing, calibration activities, or production environments.
Basic computer skills with the ability to utilize manufacturing systems, data collection tools, and Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capability to identify issues and support operational improvements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in electronics manufacturing, aerospace, defense, industrial manufacturing, or other technology-driven production environments.
Familiarity with calibration activities, manufacturing process controls, quality assurance procedures, and production support operations.
Experience supporting engineers with process development, testing, experimentation, or continuous improvement initiatives.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, process optimization, or quality improvement methodologies.
Experience using production monitoring systems, manufacturing software, and testing equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
