Job Overview We are seeking Manufacturing Technicians to set up, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain production equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring equipment operates efficiently, maintaining product quality, minimizing downtime, and meeting daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities - Set up, operate, and troubleshoot production equipment.
- Perform equipment changeovers and optimize machine performance.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and minor equipment repairs.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure quality and production standards are met.
- Maintain production and equipment downtime logs.
- Read and interpret machine blueprints and follow setup procedures.
- Perform quality inspections and complete required documentation.
- Clear machine jams and restart equipment safely.
- Monitor component inventory and notify material handlers when supplies are low.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all safety, quality, and environmental procedures.
- Support upstream and downstream production operations.
- Perform rework and other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications - 1 2 years of manufacturing, machine operation, or mechanical experience preferred.
- Experience with machine setup, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to use hand tools.
- Ability to read machine blueprints is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
