The responsibility of this individual will include product fabrication, inspection, testing, and accurate reporting of test and inspection results.ResponsibilitiesBuilding electronics, electro-mechanical systems, measurement devices—scientific instrumentsDocumenting product records, ensuring the integrity of related dataMaintaining production floor and laboratory work spaces for safe and efficient performance of dutiesTesting products—scientific instruments—using oscilloscopes and signal generatorsMeeting production schedulesPerforming Quality Assurance measurements and inspection, documenting resultsAssembling products with small features requiring delicate hand movements and microscope inspectionAdhering to safety protocols, including proper equipment operation and use of PPEQualificationsMinimum of 3 years' experience in a manufacturing environment—familiar with quality management systems (in an ISO environment) and MRP systemsExperience assembling products using basic hand and power toolsComfortable using a Windows PC and Microsoft ExcelDemonstrated ability to communicate orally and in writingAbility to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawingsFamiliarity with oscilloscopes and test equipment—AA degree or equivalent in electronics is a plusHand soldering experience is highly desirable—for component-level, circuit board assemblyMust be able to lift 50 poundsPreferred: Able to interpret technical schematics and troubleshoot printed circuit board assemblies (PCBAs) to identify and resolve issues at the individual component levelPersonal TraitsAbility to follow instructions, demonstrating self-sufficiencyGood organizational and decision-making skillsStrong mechanical aptitudeGood dexterity and hand-eye coordination for assembly of components that are often very smallPreference for teamworkSalary range: $19.5 - $35/hour, Full-timeSalary will be competitive, commensurate with individual's experience and capabilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
