Role Overview
We are partnering with a leading aerospace and avionics company to hire a Manufacturing Technician to support manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced avionics systems.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with strong electronic troubleshooting skills who enjoys working at the component level. Youll collaborate closely with engineering and production teams to ensure high-quality, reliable products across the manufacturing lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities- Perform testing, calibration, and troubleshooting of electronic assemblies, subassemblies, and final products
- Conduct component-level diagnostics and root cause analysis, documenting findings and corrective actions
- Support production activities including assembly rework, quality testing, and process adjustments
- Interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) to execute testing and troubleshooting
- Perform pre-burn-in and final product testing using standard procedures
- Work with engineering teams to generate problem reports and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)
- Set up and operate test equipment for evaluation and validation of products
- Support continuous improvement of production efficiency, quality, and reliability
- Assist in resolving technical issues across the product line with minimal supervision
- Maintain high workmanship standards and accurate documentation
Required Qualifications- 6+ months of experience in an electronic testing or manufacturing environment
- Ability to troubleshoot electronic circuits down to the component level
- Experience reading and interpreting schematics, drawings, and technical documentation
- Hands-on soldering skills (certification preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and electronic testing processes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently on routine tasks and escalate complex issues appropriately
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
- Working knowledge of ESD safety practices
