Manufacturing Test Technician

Pay Range: $21.00hr - $26.00hr

Job Overview:

The organization is seeking a Manufacturing Technician B to support production test operations in the test area. The selected candidate will be primarily responsible for performing vibration testing, running functional tests, and initiating thermal tests on production hardware. The ideal candidate will have adequate computer skills, be able to follow written instructions, and work effectively with limited supervision in a second-shift environment. The candidate will be a fully proficient support individual contributor working under limited supervision and may be a resource to other employees in areas of expertise. Assignments are moderately difficult requiring some judgment.

Job Schedule:

• 2nd Shift.
• The candidate must be willing to work second shift with limited supervision.

Essential Functions:

• Perform vibration testing on production hardware in accordance with established procedures and work instructions.
• Run functional tests and document results accurately and completely.
• Initiate and monitor thermal testing as required by manufacturing processes.
• Follow written instructions, test procedures, and production documentation to complete assigned tasks.
• Use computers and related systems to access work instructions, record test data, and track job status.
• Identify and communicate test issues, discrepancies, or equipment concerns to appropriate support personnel.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Work effectively with limited supervision on second shift.
• Support team goals and production schedules while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications:

Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2+ years of prior relevant manufacturing or test experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience working in a manufacturing or production test environment.
• Basic understanding of vibration, functional, and thermal test processes.
• Adequate computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Windows and Office applications.
• Ability to follow detailed written instructions and standardized procedures.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document test results.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Willingness to work second shift and support overtime as needed.
