Description
Manufacturing Trainer ensures developing the knowledge and skills of Harvard Integration's workforce. This position will develop and conduct initial employment training, including general company overview and skills training. Position will eventually develop a refresher training program for seasoned staff.
Instruct employee skillset training and general onboarding.
Conduct training using hands-on and classroom techniques.
Consult with supervisors, managers, and HR on training needs.
Review trainee employee performance and learning.
Build annual training program and prepare teaching plans.
Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknesses.
Develop a schedule to assess training needs.
Translate requirements into trainings that will prepare employees for the next step of their career path.
Maintain a database of all training materials.
Create training strategies, initiatives, and materials.
Attend offsite training to support activities.
Ability to learn, adapt, and instruct to all skillsets in manufacturing environment.
Support safety and quality initiatives throughout training program.
Champion Harvard Integrations throughout all activities and communications.
Perform additional duties as requested.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED.
Ability to perform basic math calculations and measurements.
Must be comfortable preparing and delivering presentations.
Proficient in Microsoft applications, especially PowerPoint.
Experience with best practices for manufacturing.
Knowledgeable of trade tools and general mechanical aptitude.
Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
Able to prioritize and manage time efficiently.
Encouraging to team and staff; able to mentor and lead.
