We are looking for a detail oriented, fast paced individual who are comfortable working 10 hours a day.

• 40 hours per week
• 5:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Thursday

Overtime required when needed - Friday 5:30 am to 4:00 pm and Saturday 5:30 am to 11:30 am

Position Summary:  Primary Responsibility for assembly of units for the product line.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Reviews job orders to determine customer specifications.
• Performs incoming inspection on material/parts prior to assembly.
• Constructs pre-fabricated sheet metal cabinets and installs components using small manual and power tools.
• Some sub-assembly of electrical components following wiring diagrams and work instructions.
• Test assembled units on HiPot and Final Run Test.
• Works at an appropriate tempo to meet production quantities and maintain quality standards.
• Works in a safe manner, utilizing all required personal protective equipment.
• Assists in all other areas of department. Maintain flexibility to transfer to other departments to assist when needed.
• Works as part of the team and continuously seeks to identify and eliminate non-value added processes and waste.
• Sustains 5S program.

Qualifications:

• Basic mechanical skills using small manual and power tools.
• Experience in an assembly line manufacturing operation preferred.
• Prior vocational/trade school background a plus.
• Must be able to lift minimum of 50 lbs. Specific vision requirements of this position include close vision. Must regularly be able to use hands to handle parts and tools.
• Must regularly stand throughout workday, reach and lift. Must have ability to regularly use small hand, manual and power tools. Good eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity.

Must be dependable and have reliable transportation.
