Job Summary
This position is responsible for ensuring customers are served in an efficient and courteous manner while keeping up with the daily tasks of the Marina deli and store. Deli Clerk Duties and Responsibilities • Greet and Welcome patrons and provide the highest level of customer service.
• Always maintain a polite and courteous attitude with all members, guests and co-workers.
• Operate the deli counter.
• Maintain supplies at an optimal level.
• Records all charge tickets using point of sale software.
• Keep deli area neat, clean, well-lit and comfortable.
• Assist in other areas of marina when possible
• Report to work on time and in uniform for scheduled hours.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned. Skills and qualifications
• Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate verbally
• Great customer service skills including listening carefully and exercising patience.
Physical Requirements
This position requires complete mobility. Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk a minimum of 8 hours daily and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
