Job description:
We are currently looking for part-time Dock Attendants to join our team! This person will perform a variety of physical tasks, mostly outside the Marina.
This is a seasonal position from now until the end of September with weekends and holidays.
Main Responsibilities:
- Must have a neat, clean, professional appearance with a friendly, courteous attitude
- Boat/Watercraft Rentals- Check-in and check-out process, preparing and cleaning boats, other watercrafts, and rental gear
- Covering and uncovering boats
- Maintaining cleanliness of docks, marina building, portable restroom, and grounds
- Opening, closing, and maintaining Gas Shed
- Fueling boats and processing payment
- Assists managers with front desk duties, store sales, answering phones, and customer inquiries as needed
Position Requirements:
- Alternating weekends and holidays required
- Ability to reach, lift, stand for long periods of time in outdoor temperature changes
- Boating license preferred with boating experience/knowledge
- Driver’s license and own transportation required
- Competent with use of computers/tablet/payment processing
- 9-hour shifts, weekends and some weekdays
Seasonal position is from late spring through early fall
