We are seeking a skilled Marina Forklift Driver to join our team in Tarpon Springs, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a forklift (Wiggins) to efficiently load, unload, and move marina vessels around the property and within the dry storage warehouse and boat slips. This role requires a strong understanding of processes, safety protocols, and equipment handling. Prior forklift experience is highly valued. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and productive environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a marina forklift to haul and launch vessels up to 35 feet.
Execute loading and unloading of vessels on trailers with precision.
Perform thorough rinsing and flushing of hulls and engines to maintain vessel integrity.
Provide proactive assistance to members during their docking and departure processes.
Conduct regular cleaning and greasing of equipment to uphold operational standards.
Participate in various general maintenance tasks to ensure the facility's optimal condition.
Requirements
Mandatory prior experience in marina forklift operation.
A clean driving record is essential to qualify for this position.
Strong orientation towards delivering unparalleled customer service.
Demonstrable ability to adhere to all safety protocols and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.
Flexibility to work 40 hours across four ten-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Valid forklift certification and experience operating forklifts, cranes, clamp trucks, and pallet jacks
Strong knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to warehouse environments
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
Benefits:
Competitive salary of $18.00-$22.00 per hour. (Based on experience and performance)
