Marine 1st Class Electrician

We are seeking experienced local 1st Class Marine Electrician to join our team in Pascagoula, MS. This position is for a local shipyard. We are seeking electricians with a strong background in marine electrical systems who can work independently and deliver quality, safety-focused results.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Install, terminate, and troubleshoot marine electrical systems
• Work on power panels, lights, and receptacles
• Pull, route, and terminate cable in shipyard environments
• Ensure all work meets marine standards and safety requirements

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4–5 years of shipyard marine electrical experience
• Strong understanding of marine electrical systems and layouts
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Safety-focused with attention to detail
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to lead crews, understand and convey safety requirements, and complete required documentation and client communications.
• Must have a detailed resume with 3 supervisor references
