Step into Munson Boats’ state-of-the-art production facility, where radiant floor heat keeps the shop comfortable year-round and craftsmanship drives every decision. As a Marine Aluminum Welder–Fitter, you’ll join a tight-knit crew of 3–4 under the direction of a lead supervisor to construct highly customized welded aluminum vessels from the keel up—fire/rescue boats, research platforms, high-speed patrol craft, and USCG-certified passenger boats trusted across the globe.
Your day starts with a plan: review blueprints and cut lists, stage CNC-routed parts produced in-house, and coordinate fit-up with your team. You’ll align hull plates, decks, fuel tanks, and structural components, then lay down precise aluminum welds that balance strength with clean aesthetics. Throughout the build, you’ll maintain a spotless, organized bay and collaborate closely to hit milestones without sacrificing quality.
This is a full-time role with a four-day workweek: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts—giving you a three-day weekend every week.
If you want a stable, well-organized workplace where your fabrication skills are fully utilized, we’d like to meet you.
