Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on various marine vessels.
Diagnose electrical issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless project execution.
Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
Document all work performed and maintain accurate records of repairs and installations.
Stay updated with the latest marine electrical technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in electrical systems preferred.
Proven experience as a maritime electrician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with maritime safety standards and regulations.
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as needed.
