Marine Licensing Coordinator
Full-Time | Houma, LA | $18–$25/hour (DOE)
A well-established maritime services company is seeking a Marine Licensing Coordinator to join its team in Houma. This is an office-based role responsible for coordinating and managing marine licensing and credentialing for mariners. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple deadlines while maintaining accurate records.
Previous experience with maritime licensing is preferred but candidates with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to learn specialized processes are encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage marine licensing and credentialing for mariners
- Prepare, submit, and track licensing applications and renewals
- Work with agencies including the Liberia Maritime Authority, Marshall Islands Registry, and the U.S. Coast Guard
- Maintain accurate licensing records and ensure all documentation is complete and current
- Monitor expiration dates and proactively coordinate renewals
- Communicate with mariners, regulatory agencies, and internal personnel regarding licensing requirements
- Ensure compliance with applicable maritime regulations and company standards
- Perform general administrative duties and assist with special projects as needed

- Monday–Friday
- Starting Pay:$18–$25 per hour, depending on experience
