Description
Elite Workforce LLC is seeking experienced Marine Structural Welders to join our shipyard workforce. The ideal candidate will have proven experience welding structural steel components in a marine or shipyard environment and possess the skills necessary to produce quality welds that meet industry standards. Candidates must be capable of working safely in demanding shipyard conditions and successfully passing all pre-employment requirements.

Responsibilities
Perform structural welding on ship hulls, decks, bulkheads, foundations, and other marine structures.
Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, specifications, and work instructions.
Utilize various welding processes, including FCAW, SMAW, and GMAW as required.
Ensure all welds meet shipyard, customer, and regulatory quality standards.
Operate welding equipment and related tools safely and efficiently.
Inspect completed welds for quality and compliance with specifications.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment in accordance with company and shipyard safety policies.
Work collaboratively with supervisors, shipfitters, and other trades to complete projects on schedule.
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of marine structural welding experience preferred.
Previous shipyard, marine construction, or heavy industrial welding experience required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
Strong knowledge of welding techniques, safety procedures, and fabrication practices.
Ability to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in various weather conditions.
Pre-Employment Requirements
All candidates must:
Successfully pass a hands-on welding test.
Successfully pass a drug screening.
Successfully pass a pre-employment physical examination.
Possess a valid government-issued photo identification.
Be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Comply with all shipyard security and access requirements.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and climb for extended periods.
Ability to work in confined spaces, elevated areas, and industrial environments.
