Job Description

Cycle Springs Powersports is part of the Dimmitt Automotive Group, a leader in lifestyle automotive since 1924. Our family-owned franchise dealership is located in Clearwater Florida and has been serving the Tampa Bay community for over 30 years. We offer a wide array of products from industry leaders such as Yamaha, Scarab, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Polaris, Slingshot, Sea-Doo, Kymco, Gem and Segway. The Watercraft Technician is responsible for the diagnosis, repair and service maintenance of jet boats and personal watercraft, while following Company guidelines and procedures.  

1. Diagnose, repair and service jet boats and personal watercraft.
2. Completes warrantied repairs to manufacturer specifications.
3. Completes all routine maintenance.
4. Troubleshoots problems with systems.
5. Communicates timeframe for repairs and service needed with Service Advisor.
6. Install new parts as needed.
7. Performs repairs.
8. Performing other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to:

• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose root of problem.
• Ability to identify proper tools and equipment needed for repairs.
• Willing and able to communicate effectively with Service Advisors regarding the status of repair orders.
• Highly professional, organized, and dependable.
• Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including Saturday.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, follow directions and meet goals.

• Maintain and uphold safety standards.

  Qualifications 

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years related technician experience in the powersports industry required.
• Formal training and certification in watercraft mechanics program highly preferred.
• Factory certified from Yamaha, Sea-Doo, Kawasaki, Scarab highly preferred.
• Unrestricted valid Florida driver license.
• Clean driving record
• Excellent work history
• Excellent customer service skills
• Meticulous attention to detail

Group Benefits eligibility for full-time associates is 1st of month after 60 days. The plan includes:

Subsidized Health Insurance with eligibility the first of the month following 60 days of service
