Location: This is an on-site opportunity based in Bedford, Massachusetts, offering the chance to work closely with an experienced legal team while serving clients in a dynamic maritime practice.

Note: To be considered, you must be licensed to practice law in Massachusetts and have prior Maritime or Admiralty Law experience.

Job Description

  • Represent clients in maritime and admiralty litigation and related legal matters.
  • Advise clients on maritime regulations, commercial disputes, contracts, and risk management.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and develop litigation strategies.
  • Participate in negotiations, mediations, depositions, hearings, and trials as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients to provide proactive legal solutions.
  • Manage case files while maintaining exceptional client communication.
  • Stay current on developments in maritime and admiralty law.

Qualifications

  • Active Massachusetts Bar license.
  • Maritime or Admiralty Law experience required.
  • Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship skills.
  • Ability to independently manage cases while collaborating with a team.
  • Litigation experience is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
