Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Market Access Strategy & Planning
- Lead end-to-end market access strategy development across key geographies
- Define pricing, reimbursement, and contracting strategies aligned with product value propositions
- Assess market readiness and access risk at different stages of the product lifecycle (pre launch to LOE)
- Develop launch sequencing and country prioritization strategies
- Provide strategic input into brand, portfolio, and lifecycle planning
Pricing & Reimbursement Expertise
- Define global and local pricing strategies, including list price, net price, and corridor planning
- Support value-based pricing, innovative contracting, and outcomes-based agreements
- Advise on price governance, reference pricing impacts, and policy constraints
- Lead pricing committee discussions and scenario modeling
Payer, HTA & Policy Engagement
- Analyze payer decision-making frameworks and reimbursement pathways
- Lead or support HTA submissions (e.g., NICE, G-BA, HAS, ICER)
- Interpret evolving healthcare policies and assess impact on access, pricing, and demand
- Provide insights on national and regional payer negotiations
Value & Evidence Strategy
- Translate clinical and real world evidence into compelling access value narratives
- Collaborate with HEOR and Medical Affairs to shape value dossiers and AMCP/HTA submissions
- Advise on evidence generation strategies to support payer requirements
- Support RWE strategy to strengthen reimbursement and re assessment outcomes
Cross Functional Leadership
- Act as a market access domain advisor to Commercial, Medical, Finance, and Data teams
- Ensure alignment between global, regional, and local access strategies
- Review and validate market access analytics, forecasts, and insights
- Support capability development through training and knowledge sharing
Analytics & Insights (Advanced Organizations)
- Guide development and interpretation of access analytics dashboards
- Provide expert input into:
o Payer mix optimization
o Access barriers and drivers
o Scenario and sensitivity analyses
- Partner with data and insights teams to translate analytics into strategic decisions
Salary Range: $160,000- $190,000 a year
