Job Description

We are seeking a Market Access - Partnership Lead to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in U.S. payer and reimbursement strategy, diagnostics and pharmaceutical market access, and cross-functional program leadership and a proven ability to develop and execute market access strategies and partner deliverables from opportunity assessment through contracted execution.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the U.S. Market Access lead for pharma/diagnostics partnerships in collaboration with global PHCS, product teams, Business Development, and Alliance Management.
• Develop and evolve U.S. market access strategies across the Roche Diagnostics portfolio, with focus on Core Lab and Pathology Lab.
• Assess product-specific reimbursement pathways, payer needs, evidence requirements, stakeholder insights, and market-development objectives.
• Define scope, deliverables, timelines, dependencies, resources, risks, and budget inputs for proposals and statements of work.
• Develop and present partner-ready strategies, recommendations, proposals, and executive presentations to external partners and internal leadership.
• Translate signed agreements into executable plans and lead delivery of milestones, governance, and partner communications.
• Lead the access workstream directly or in collaboration with product Access Strategy Leads, engaging appropriate U.S. and global experts with clear roles and accountability.
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams, track progress and risks, manage scope changes, and escalate issues that may affect partnership health or delivery.
• Develop reusable frameworks, proposal content, work packages, tools, and processes to improve speed, consistency, and quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in health economics, public health, business, life sciences, a clinical discipline, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in market access, reimbursement, payer strategy, HEOR, diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, consulting, or related healthcare fields.
• Experience in diagnostics and/or pharmaceutical market access, preferably across both industries.
• Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and delivery of complex, multi-stakeholder programs.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of U.S. payer, reimbursement, and evidence requirements for diagnostic technologies; biomarker or companion diagnostics experience is a plus.
• Proven ability to develop proposals, statements of work, budgets, timelines, and partner-facing deliverables.
• Experience supporting external partnerships, alliances, or client engagements and influencing without direct authority.
• Strong project or program management, business judgment, and communication skills with senior leaders and partners.

Additional Details

On-site presence in Indianapolis, Indiana is preferred. U.S.-based remote work will be considered. Ability to travel up to 30% based on partner meetings, project needs, and internal collaboration requirements. Legal Entity: Ventana Medical Systems (6127). Hours per Day: 8.
