Overview:
Peregrine Health is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Market Activation Manager to serve as an ambassador for our Behavioral Health (BH) department. The Market Activation Manager plays a critical role in strengthening access to care by building strategic relationships with internal clinical teams and community partners. This role is responsible for expanding referral networks, driving utilization of our internal BH services, and establishing internal and external referral pipelines across medical, behavioral health, and specialty care services.
The ideal candidate has experience in pharmaceutical sales or liaison roles within large healthcare systems or hospital settings and is energized by building relationships and generating measurable growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain strong relationships with primary care providers and specialty departments within our clinics to identify new BH referral opportunities.
Promote the utilization of BH services through education, relationship-building, and consistent in-person visits to clinic sites.
Understand the unique needs of patient populations and position BH service offerings to address those needs effectively.
Represent the organization in the community by meeting with external healthcare providers, social service agencies, and other relevant organizations to build strategic referral partnerships.
Develop and execute outreach strategies to increase referrals for all lines of service: medical, behavioral health, and specialty care.
Track and report outreach activity, including number of site visits, community engagements, and referral outcomes.
Monitor referral volume by source to gauge the effectiveness of outreach efforts and inform continuous process improvement to refine outreach strategies.
Collaborate closely with internal teams to relay feedback from the field and inform service delivery improvements.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BH service offerings and healthcare industry trends.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree required.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a pharmaceutical sales, physician liaison, or provider relations role within a large healthcare system or hospital setting.
Strong understanding of behavioral health services and integrated care models.
Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Self-starter with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding outreach and referral targets.
Highly organized with the ability to manage a field-based schedule across multiple sites and community partners.
Valid drivers license and reliable transportation required for local travel (up to 90%).
Performance Metrics:
Number of unique clinics and organizations engaged monthly/quarterly
Number of new patient referrals attributed to liaison-driven outreach
Growth in utilization rates of internal BH services
Expansion and quality of external referral relationships
