What You’ll Do:

The Market Development Manager (MDM) is responsible for increasing patient referral activity and Rendevor Market presence in designated geographic territory(s). The MDM will build and maintain relationships with hospital discharge planners, case managers, social workers, nephrologists, and other members of the healthcare community that oversee or influence the discharge of dialysis patients in need of skilled nursing or home dialysis. The role is also responsible for assisting (internal and external) admission teams with expediting patient referrals and assisting with required documents. The MDM will establish close working relationships with Rendevor partnered SNF marketing, admission, and leadership teams and assist them in developing plans for onsite dialysis success. The ideal candidate will be capable of utilizing a diverse strategy of market analysis tools as well as in field intelligence to understand each community in their assigned territory, maximize Rendevor presence, and drive divisional success. They will serve the community as a trusted resource and industry expert driving treatment utilization while adding value to SNF partner teams and strengthening goodwill with hospital partners. MDMs will work closely with internal Business Development, Admission, Marketing, and Clinical teams to facilitate collaborative successes.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education & Licensure:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Valid driver license and insurance coverage required

Experience:

  • 5 years of field marketing experience required (healthcare preferred)
  • 2 years of hospital experience preferred
  • Demonstrated record of success in territory and relationship growth
  • Strong client/account management experience
  • 2+ years CRM experience (required)
  • Knowledge of Referral Systems and EMRs

Metrics:

  • Achieve and sustain TUR targets at individual sites and within assigned market and territory responsibility
  • Identify referral patterns and opportunity gaps
  • Achieve targeted referral conversion rates
  • Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly in field presentations to accounts

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain high-frequency relationships with hospital discharge planners, case managers, and social workers
  • Analyze patient referral, approval, and admissions analytics; build strong patient flows from hospital discharge into the Rendevor network
  • Increase site treatment utilization rates through proactive outreach and relationship management
  • Work virtually to optimize geographic and local market coverage
  • Document key contacts, relationships, and discussions in CRM system
  • Provide hospital field intelligence to leadership on highest-potential referral sources
  • Collaborate with leadership on brand growth initiatives and new partnership strategies
  • Maintain accurate documentation practices and report regularly to leadership
  • Drive co-marketing field engagement meetings with partner SNF accounts; collaborate on events with internal and external stakeholders
  • Self-manage personal monthly calendar, tasks, objectives, and goals

Supervision:

  • Reports to the VP, Business Development

Work Environment:

This job operates both remotely and in an office/home office setting. Regular travel is required to support multiple dialysis programs across assigned regions. Ability and willingness to travel (up to 50%) to network facilities and sites around the state.
