Market Insights Coordinator Phoenix, AZ | Full-Time At Visit Phoenix, we bring the energy, culture, and opportunity of one of the fastest-growing destinations in the country to life. We’re looking for a Market Insights Coordinator who is passionate about data, curious about traveler behavior, and excited to turn insights into impact for our community, partners, and stakeholders. If you love uncovering trends, telling stories with data, and influencing strategy, this role is for you. What You’ll Do As part of the Insights team, you’ll play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights that drive tourism and economic growth. You will: - Produce weekly and monthly reports on key tourism and economic indicators (visitor profiles, hotel occupancy, airport traffic, economic impact, and more)
- Analyze data from surveys, reports, and databases to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities
- Build and enhance dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI and Tableau
- Support database management, including implementation, maintenance, and data cleaning
- Identify new, innovative ways to visualize and communicate insights
- Track destination marketing trends and industry best practices
- Collaborate with internal teams, agencies, and stakeholders to support strategic initiatives
- Contribute to Visitor Industry Trends webinars and presentations
- Help define target audiences and evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
What You Bring You’re equal parts analytical thinker and storyteller—someone who can dig into the details and communicate the “why” behind the data. - Bachelor’s degree in Marketing Research, Statistics, Math, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience analyzing datasets and creating data visualizations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
- Experience with survey platforms (Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey, Microsoft Forms)
- CRM/database experience (Simpleview is a plus!)
- Strong communication skills—you can translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
