Schedule - Will work on-site initially for training and onboarding. Following training, will work remotely but will be expected to come on-site for in-person critical meetings.
Job Summary:
The Market Intelligence Analyst is a six-month temporary position within Strategic Business Development focused on strengthening the department s data foundation, improving business intelligence and reporting, and translating claims and market data into actionable growth opportunities.
Job Responsibilities:
-The position will work closely with department employees and other internal stakeholders to improve how data is organized, connected, analyzed, and used to support business decisions.
-The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical and technical capabilities, practical business judgment, and the ability to work across systems and teams. This individual should be comfortable asking questions, challenging assumptions, identifying better approaches, and making recommendations based on what is best for the department.
-The specific Product and prioritization of deliverables may evolve during the six-month assignment based on organizational priorities, data availability, and emerging opportunities.
Required Skills & Experience:
-Experience in analytics, business, healthcare, data science, information systems, or a related field.
-Experience with Power BI, SmartSuite, SQL, relational databases, or similar data and reporting tools.
-Experience with healthcare claims, referral, provider, market, demographic, or competitive data.
-Experience integrating or connecting data across multiple systems.
-Experience working with data from multiple sources and translating data into meaningful business insights.
-Experience with data integrity, quality improvement, reporting, dashboards, or business intelligence.
-Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify patterns, evaluate options, and make recommendations.
-Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
-Strong communication skills and ability to explain analytical findings and technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
Preferred Skills & Experience:
-Experience with provider relationship management, physician network analytics, healthcare business
development analytics, or similar work.
-Experience with automation, workflow improvement, data governance, or data-quality processes.
-Experience with forecasting, market analysis, segmentation, or predictive analytics.
-Experience using artificial intelligence, generative AI, or other emerging technologies to support analytics, reporting, automation, or decision-making.
-Ability to critically evaluate technology solutions and respectfully challenge assumptions or proposed
approaches when a different solution would better meet business needs.
