Fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive, YouTube's Trust & Safety team is dedicated to making YouTube a safe place for users, viewers, and content creators around the world to create, and express themselves. Whether understanding and solving their online content concerns, navigating within global legal frameworks, or writing and enforcing worldwide policy, the Trust & Safety team is on the frontlines of enhancing the YouTube experience, building internet safety, and protecting free speech in our ever-evolving digital world.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading initiatives in support of a number of cross-Vertical programs focused on engagement with stakeholders across YouTube to ensure that Trust and Safety manages and lands its most sensitive decisions and maintains high operational readiness for sensitive events and elections readiness.
As a part of this role, you will engage with cross-functional teams to deepen Trust and Safety's understanding of regional and local trends and risks on YouTube, proactively monitor trends and intelligence sources. You will ensure our enforcement guidelines are informed by market knowledge, drive collaboration and consistency across Trust and Safety's efforts to support elections and sensitive events worldwide, including monitoring, supporting sensitive escalations and election/major event readiness, and proactively highlighting risks to the YouTube ecosystem and Trust and Safety. You will co-ordinate across Policy Enforcement, Engineering, Product, and other teams to help drive operational and technical evolution of how Trust and Safety manages its most sensitive enforcement decisions. US: $141000 - $206000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
