Duties and Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist customers while providing excellent customer service. Performance standard: High guest satisfaction with minimal complaints.
Stocking & Store Maintenance
  • Keep market and storage areas clean, organized, and well stocked.
  • Stock items from back stock and incoming inventory; front, face, clean, and dust shelves.
  • Check all shelf stock for out-of-date codes, spoilage, and uniformity.
  • Maintain cleanliness of back office and storage area.
Support for Management
  • Assist management with training of new employees and with special assignments as needed. Performance standard: Assist willingly and consistently.
Opening & Closing Duties
  • Opening tasks: Stock coffee station, place floor mats, check key inventory items with supervisor, and begin daily shift checklist.
  • Closing tasks: Clean coffee station, back office, and storeroom; remove mats; sweep and mop; restock workstation items; turn off lights; complete daily shift checklist.
Compliance & Operations
  • Follow all safety rules and attend required safety meetings.
  • Use time clock correctly; arrive on time and in uniform; ensure overtime is pre-approved.
Qualifications
  • Friendly, outgoing, customer-service-oriented personality with a big smile and positive attitude.
  • Good interpersonal skills; well-groomed; team-oriented.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or lean up to 50 lbs.
  • Will be trained to use baler and various market equipment.
