Lexington, NC area is seeking a temporary
Individual Market Support Coordinator to assist with individual insurance and Medicare open enrollment activities. This position will work
onsite in Lexington, NC and will provide administrative, customer service, and enrollment support during a busy seasonal period.
About the Role
The Individual Market Support Coordinator will work as part of a collaborative team to support important aspects of the individual insurance market and open enrollment process.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple responsibilities. Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to learn new systems and processes are important for success in this role.
Candidates should be self-motivated, able to manage their time effectively, and comfortable working in a fast-paced professional office environment.
Requirements
Associate's degree preferred
NC Life & Health Insurance License is a plus
Familiarity with medical, dental, and vision insurance plans preferred
Previous customer service or administrative experience
Highly organized with strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe programs
Ability to learn new technology and software systems
Ability to communicate professionally with customers and internal team members
Ability to provide client-focused solutions while developing positive customer relationships
Strong time-management and organizational skills
Responsibilities
File, scan, and upload meeting notes, plan information, and other documentation into electronic systems
Assist with customer account notices and communications
Schedule customer meetings and appointments
Process applications and update customer account information
Maintain accurate electronic and hard-copy customer files
Prepare and mail correspondence to customers approaching Medicare eligibility and complete follow-up phone calls
Mail notices regarding account or status changes
Send required appointment and enrollment documentation to customers
Provide professional and courteous customer service during all interactions
Proactively communicate with customers regarding individual insurance plans and available services
Assist with individual insurance enrollment and service needs
Track and report customer interactions, enrollment activity, and other required information
Maintain accurate documentation and records in accordance with established compliance requirements
Work closely with internal team members to support a positive, productive work environment
Perform additional administrative and customer support duties as needed during the open enrollment period
