Position Responsibilities:

  • Establish and drive a Market Unit-wide inventory control strategy by developing standardized inventory process, count methodologies, governance models, and reporting standards that improve inventory accuracy, ensure audit readiness, reduce loss, and support service and financial objectives.
  • Lead and direct inventory control teams across facilities, setting expectations, standardizing practices, and driving continuous improvement in Safety, Quality, Inventory accuracy, and productivity
  • Partner cross‑functionally with Supply Chain, Logistics, Distribution Centers, Shipping, and third‑party suppliers, serving as the primary inventory control liaison to ensure inventory integrity, reliable product flow, and data‑driven decision support aligned with service and profit goals
  • Develop, monitor, and analyze key inventory performance metrics in order to communicate weekly and monthly inventory results, trends, and risks using the warehouse management system (WMS)
  • Lead root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies, loss, and process failures, while overseeing loss prevention and inventory risk management practices to ensure policy compliance and drive sustainable, continuous improvements
  • Provide strategic oversight of vendor quality and credit processes, ensuring appropriate controls are in place to protect inventory integrity and customer service
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor''s Degree with 8 plus years of related experience and 4 plus years of leadership experience or High School Diploma/General Education Diploma with 11 plus years of specific experience and 6 plus years of leadership experience
