Marketing Analytics Manager

As a Marketing Analytics Manager, you will collaborate with marketing leaders to improve the way we use data to make decisions. You will play a role in customer acquisition, retention, and revenue by ensuring we’re making the right investments, tracking what we need, and optimizing everything within our control.

Primary Objectives:

• Be the organizational owner of ensuring that we’re tracking and measuring all aspects of marketing from spend to new subscribers to return on investment
• Serve as the conduit between marketing data and leadership, helping educate key stakeholders on marketing performance and its impact on revenue
• Develop, optimize and implement global workflows, processes, tools, and agency partnerships that allow all marketing teams to focus on their strengths, operate efficiently and be results-driven
• Provide recommendations for where we could improve performance throughout the customer journey, from channel acquisition to churn

This position remote; however, it is hybrid (3 days in office) if based out of our Austin or Dallas, Texas offices. Travel requirements is occasional, less than 15%.

About the team

The Marketing Analytics and Research team supports many products that solve shipping and logistics for online sellers across the globe. We partner with and enable brand and functional marketing teams to effectively scale their marketing efforts and make effective decisions across a portfolio of products. What will you be doing?

• Lead marketing measurement and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Manage and report on key marketing metrics across the marketing funnel
• Analyze relationships between marketing efforts and business outcomes
• Manage ad hoc marketing analytics requests from end-to-end
• Develop dashboards, and other data-oriented deliverables that meet the needs of both marketing teams and senior leaders
• Support testing, ensuring learnings are shared across teams
• Serve as the connective layer across analytics platforms and tools, ensuring data flows are accurate, consistent, and comparable across sources
• Monitor and maintain data quality within the marketing databases and our dashboarding systems
• Assist with the implementation and governance of tracking infrastructure (UTMs, tags, pixels) to ensure accurate data capture across marketing channels 

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor’s degree 
• 3+ years of experience in a marketing analytics or data analytics role
• Track record of driving measurable success through data analysis, optimization and performance improvement
• Ability to create compelling presentations and dashboards based on data
• Experience establishing and maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization
• Motivated, detail-oriented, self-driven with an objective lens on pulling insights from data
• Must be comfortable with advanced statistical analysis and machine learning
• Proficient in marketing analytics methodologies and measurement
• Familiarity with ad platforms and marketing KPIs
• Proficient in SQL for querying and manipulating large datasets; experience with Python or R for statistical analysis and automation is a plus 

What will make you stand out?

• 5+ years of experience in marketing analytics and data analysis, preferably in B2B software
• Experience with creating attribution models and marketing mix models
• Experience with experimentation and incrementality testing

• Hands on experience with tools like Hubspot, Salesforce, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Google Analytics, Segment, Databricks, GCP, Google Tag Manager, Github, Vertex AI, and BigQuery
