Marketing and Administrative Coordinator – Sugar Land, TX | Full‑Time | On‑SiteAbout the JobWe are looking for a Marketing and Administrative Coordinator to own our marketing execution, internal communications, or company‑wide materials. This role reports directly to the President and plays a key part in how Systel presents itself, both externally to customers and partners, and internally to our team. This is a hands‑on role where you'll manage social media, keep our website and intranet current, coordinate trade shows, maintain marketing collateral, and support company‑wide initiatives.Who You AreYou are an organized, proactive professional who thrives at the intersection of marketing and administrative coordination. You are detail‑oriented, self‑directed, and energized by seeing your work make a visible impact on how the company presents itself internally and externally.What You'll DoMarketing & External CommunicationsManage Systel's social media presence, primarily LinkedIn—drafting posts, scheduling content, and monitoring engagementKeep our website current with news, product updates, and fresh contentCreate and maintain marketing collateral: capability briefs, one‑pagers, brochures, and sales support materialsManage company swag—sourcing, inventory, and fulfillmentCoordinate with vendors: printers, promotional item suppliers, photographersSupport employer branding efforts including LinkedIn company page and careers contentTrade Shows & EventsOwn trade show logistics end‑to‑end: registration, booth setup, signage, materials shipping, and post‑show follow‑upCoordinate attendee logistics and ensure team members have what they needMaintain trade show calendar and track deadlinesInternal CommunicationsMaintain and update Mission Control, our SharePoint‑based intranetDraft and distribute internal announcements and company communicationsKeep org charts, templates, and company materials currentSupport company culture initiatives including core values recognition programsAdministrative & Project SupportUpdate and maintain recurring company presentations (All Hands Meetings, board materials, etc.)Coordinate business card orders and maintain branded templatesManage photography needs: headshots, facility photos, product imagesBuild and organize a media library of approved images and assetsTrack marketing‑related subscriptions, renewals, and vendor relationshipsTake on ad hoc projects as assigned by the PresidentCustomer Relationship SupportCoordinate customer appreciation efforts: holiday cards, thank‑you notes, milestone giftsMaintain customer contact lists and key relationship informationMinimum Qualifications2+ years of experience in marketing coordination, communications, or administrative rolesStrong written communication skills with ability to adapt tone for different audiencesProficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint)Experience managing social media for a business or organizationHighly organized with ability to manage multiple projects and deadlinesSelf‑directed and able to work independently while keeping leadership informedPreferred QualificationsExperience in B2B, manufacturing, or defense/aerospace industriesFamiliarity with trade show logistics and event coordinationBasic graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)Experience with SharePoint administrationExperience with website content management systemsWhy SystelImpact: Your work matters daily.
