Botlink provides an array of products and services to customers throughout the UAS industry, while Packet builds world-class battery packs and power systems for drones and UAS.Marketing and Communications SpecialistJob PurposeA marketing intern is responsible for assisting marketing operations under the supervision of a marketing manager. They will create engaging content for our social media profiles, design marketing material, assist with event planning, and more. We are looking for an intern who can collaborate with the marketing and sales team in all stages of marketing campaigns.Main Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development and execution of marketing strategiesManage the company social marketing and blog postsCreate dynamic written and graphic contentResponsible for keeping website content updated and relevantDesign and format marketing materials including social media graphics and adsAbility to learn technical details of both the drone industry and customer industriesEvaluate content on the site and provide recommendations to the content team to improve SEO resultsProvide support for tradeshow and event attendance as well as on-site event planning.Assist with template building for presentations to ensure consistent brandingSupport marketing team with clerical tasks such as reporting and database managementPerform all other duties as assigned by management in a professional and efficient manner.Knowledge & SkillsRequired:Proficient in relevant computer applicationsExperience with Photoshop, InDesign, and other design softwareFamiliarity with social media strategies and platformsExperience in event planning and organizingAbility to take direction and absorb information quicklyAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentPreferred:Experience with Google Analytics, SEO and CRM toolsExperience with WordPress and SquarespaceUnderstanding of HTML and CSSWork Experience & EducationActively pursuing degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
