The Marketing & Events Coordinator plays a pivotal role in advancing the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business mission by creating meaningful connections that support student success, community engagement and educational access. This dynamic position leads strategic marketing and communications initiatives, develops compelling content across digital and print platforms, and plans high-impact events that bring students, alumni, employers, faculty, staff and community partners together, promoting opportunities that help learners thrive and rise.Key Job ResponsibilitiesEvents:Plans and executes most student-facing and employee-facing college-level events, in collaboration with co-hosts, and with help from Student Engagement AssistantServes on engagement-related committees and working groups: CSB Recruitment Committee (bi-weekly), Community Relations working group (monthly), K12 relations working group (quarterly), All Campus Programmers (semesterly)Organizes student-focused programming and resources to promote new and ongoing educational initiativesGenerates and analyzes reports of events and marketing outcomesMarketing:Leads college-level marketing strategy and implementation across various projects in the Cofrin School of Business, with help from Student Marketing AssistantWrites, edits, and publishes content for various communication projects and marketing platforms to align with strategic initiatives and established communication campaignsStudent Organizations:Supports CSB Student Orgs by being a point of contact for advisors and student org leaders, connecting them with answers and resourcesManages the Signature Events and Activity FundChairs the Student Leadership Council, which functions as a CSB student focus groupCenters:Assists Centers with brainstorming, events, conference travel, social media, student engagement, recruiting student worker Lab AssistantsDepartment: Cofrin School of BusinessCompensation: Minimum compensation of $46,115. This position is exempt from overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).Required QualificationsBachelor's degree at time of applicationPreferred QualificationsPossession of or eligibility to obtain a valid driver's license upon appointmentExperience with marketing and/or event planningConditions of AppointmentThe home campus of this position is Green Bay and the successful candidate may occasionally be required to travel to or work at the Marinette, Sheboygan or Manitowoc Campus, based on operational needs. The position is a full-time Academic Staff appointment.
