As a Frontier Marketing & Outreach Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in marketing, communications, recruitment, event planning, and community engagement. This internship provides a unique opportunity to tell the story of agriculture, connect with future talent, and promote the many career opportunities available within Frontier Cooperative.

What Youll Do As a Marketing & Outreach Intern, you will support Frontiers marketing, recruitment, and community engagement initiatives through a variety of creative and professional experiences. Responsibilities may include:

Assist in writing articles, employee spotlights, blog posts, newsletters, and other written communications to support marketing and outreach efforts. Capture and edit photos and videos for marketing, recruitment, and outreach initiatives. Support and assist with the planning and execution of Frontier Cooperative events, including community outreach initiatives, county fairs, and employee engagement activities. Assist with recruitment and outreach efforts through social media, community engagement, networking events, career fairs, and educational partnerships. Brainstorm strategies to engage and educate high school and college students about Frontier Cooperative, career pathways, internships, and employment opportunities.

Preferred Education & Interests

An interest in the agricultural industry Experience using social media platforms (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.) Excellent communication skills (creative writing, polished verbal communication skills) Experience or interest in creative design and editing (i.e. Premier Pro, Canva, Lightroom, PowerPoint) Experience or interest in photography and/or videography is a plus Courses taken, knowledge of, background experience, or interest with any of the following: Agricultural-related, Sales, Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, Mass Communication, Broadcasting, Web Design. Organizational skills, multi-tasking skills, ability to collaborate with a team, as well as work on projects solo Experience or interest in event planning Experience or involvement with public relations activities, community organizations/projects, youth and educational events and opportunities A willingness to spend time learning about the cooperative system and each of the business units of Frontier Cooperative Flexibility to work outside of regular office hours if necessary or when possible The ability to work in a professional office environment Organizational and time management skills Ability to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, adversity, and constant change Valid Driver's License and ability to travel within our business footprint
