Marketing and Social Media CoordinatorPosition OverviewThe Marketing & Social Media Coordinator is responsible for executing the restaurant's local marketing strategy through social media content creation, campaign planning, and in-store promotions. This role owns the creation of photo and video content while ensuring all materials align with Chick-fil-A brand standards and voice. This role works very closely with the Sales and Brand Growth Director as needed in growing and executing sales strategies for the restaurant.Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Management & Content CreationPlan, create, and schedule engaging content for Facebook and InstagramCapture and produce high-quality photos, videos, and Reels in-storeEdit video content for short-form platforms (Reels, Stories, etc.)Write captions that reflect brand voice, hospitality, and community focusStay current on social media trends and apply them appropriately within brand guardrailsMonitor comments and messages, responding in a timely and professional mannerTrack engagement and performance to optimize future contentContent Production (Photo & Video)Regularly shoot content inside the restaurant (guests, team members, food, events)Stage and style food and environment shots to maintain brand qualityEdit content using mobile apps or software (light editing, transitions, captions)Build a content library for ongoing and future useDesign & Marketing MaterialsDesign promotional materials using Canva (flyers, digital graphics, signage)Ensure all visuals follow Chick-fil-A brand guardrails (fonts, colors, tone, imagery)Prepare and print in-store marketing materialsMarketing Calendar & Campaign ExecutionCollaborate with leadership to build monthly marketing calendarsExecute campaigns for promotions, events, and seasonal initiativesEnsure timely rollout of all marketing materials and messagingEvent & Community MarketingSupport and attend in-store events (Family Nights, promotions, giveaways)Capture live content during events for social media useCoordinate signage and promotional materials for eventsBrand Standards & ComplianceMaintain strict adherence to Chick-fil-A brand guidelinesEnsure all messaging reflects company values and a guest-first mindsetProtect brand integrity across all platformsQualificationsExperience creating and managing social media content for a business or organizationStrong skills in photo and video capture using a smartphone or cameraBasic video editing skills (Reels, short-form content)Proficiency in Canva or similar toolsStrong written communication and attention to detailOrganized, proactive, and able to manage multiple deadlinesPreferred QualificationsExperience with short-form video trends (Instagram Reels, TikTok-style content)Basic photography composition and lighting knowledgeExperience in restaurant or local marketingSuccess MeasuresConsistent stream of fresh, high-quality photo and video contentSocial media that feels current, engaging, and on brandStrong guest engagement (comments, shares, participation in events)Seamless execution of monthly marketing campaigns and eventsWorking at a Chick-fil-A® restaurant is more than a job – it's an opportunity for teamwork and leadership development in a positive, people-focused environment.
